Alan is an award-winning film director and screenwriter from Preston, Lancashire and based in Liverpool. He embraces the outlook and perspectives that have come from living with a hidden disability, finding himself drawn to the invisible aspects of characters, and all that bubbles under the surface.

He has an extensive background in music video, with dozens of credits in this medium. His works have screened on MTV, Channel 4 & ITV. Alan’s short films have screened at Cardiff Animation Festival 2020, Manchester Animation Festival 2022, and the Lift-Off Sessions 2020. Alan’s feature film The Blackout screened at Lisbon International Film Festival 2016.
